About the Role

We're looking for a motivated Laboratory & Data Validation Intern to join our Product and Data teams and help develop and validate the cutting-edge technologies that are transforming the bathroom into the future of everyday health.

This is a unique opportunity for a student passionate about laboratory work, sports, wellbeing and digital health-related technologies. You'll play a key role in generating the high-quality data that powers our products, working at the intersection of laboratory testing, product validation and data collection.

You'll be responsible for preparing and analyzing biological samples, validating product performance, and supporting the creation of reliable datasets used to improve our technology. Your work will directly contribute to product development, data quality and the validation of new features before they reach customers.

What You'll Do

Laboratory Operations

• Collect, prepare and process biological samples following laboratory protocols.
• Perform laboratory measurements using techniques such as spectrophotometry, refractometry and electrochemistry, and extract relevant parameters from samples.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure reliable and accurate results.
• Prepare, review and maintain laboratory documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), test records, calibration logs and quality documentation, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments and laboratory activities.
• Ensure proper handling, organization and traceability of samples.

Data Collection & Validation

• Generate high-quality datasets for Product and Data teams.
• Validate new product features, sensors and algorithms using laboratory data.
• Support the creation and maintenance of structured datasets.
• Verify data consistency, quality and completeness.

Product Validation

• Assist in validating new product developments before production.
• Execute laboratory validation protocols and document results.
• Support testing of new biomarkers and product improvements.
• Collaborate with QA and Product teams during validation processes.

Continuous Improvement

• Help improve laboratory procedures and data collection workflows.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality and repeatability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Product, Data and Engineering.

What We're Looking For

Required

• Currently studying a FP Superior or similar, Analytical Chemistry, Laboratory Sciences, Analytical Technology, Sports Science, or a related field.
• Passion for sports, health and technology.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Curiosity about data and scientific experimentation.
• Comfortable working in a laboratory environment.
• Ability to follow protocols while maintaining high quality standards.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

• Basic knowledge of laboratory analytical techniques.
• Experience working with biological samples.
• Basic Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Basic Python or data analysis knowledge.
• Interest in sensors, biomedical devices or connected products.
• Interest in AI and data-driven product development.
