About the role

We're looking for an exceptional Senior Software QA Automation Engineer to join our Engineering team and help build the reliable software foundations powering the future of everyday health. You'll play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability and scalability of the connected technologies transforming the bathroom into an intelligent health platform. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on improving software quality across our entire development lifecycle. You will own the testing strategy, automation frameworks and release validation processes that ensure our products are robust, scalable and production-ready. You'll work closely with Backend, Frontend, Embedded and Product teams to identify risks early, increase test coverage and build a strong quality culture across engineering. We're looking for someone who enjoys building automation systems, improving engineering practices and ensuring every release meets a high standard of reliability.

What you'll do

QA Strategy & Release Quality

• Define and own the software QA strategy across the product lifecycle.
• Plan and execute validation processes before production releases.
• Define release acceptance criteria and quality gates.
• Perform functional, regression and integration testing.
• Identify risks and prevent production issues.

Test Automation & Coverage

• Design, build and maintain automated testing frameworks.
• Increase automated test coverage across backend services, frontend applications and APIs.
• Develop unit, integration and end-to-end testing strategies.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with engineering teams to improve code quality and testability.

Software Quality Engineering

• Review software changes and identify potential quality risks.
• Analyze bugs, reproduce issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Improve testing processes, automation workflows and engineering practices.
• Define and monitor quality metrics:
  • Test coverage
  • Regression stability
  • Production incidents
  • Release quality

Collaboration & Quality Culture

• Work closely with developers to establish testing best practices.
• Promote a quality-first engineering culture across teams.
• Support engineers in writing maintainable and testable software.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.
• Analyze production issues using logs, metrics and monitoring tools.

What we're looking for

Required

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation, Software Engineering or Quality Engineering.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
• Experience testing APIs, backend services and web applications.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies:
  • Unit testing
  • Integration testing
  • End-to-end testing
  • Regression testing
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
• Experience participating in code reviews and identifying quality risks.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Experience working with developers in agile environments.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Pytest, Playwright, Selenium or Cypress.
• Experience testing REST APIs and integrations using tools such as Apidog, Postman or Insomnia.
• Experience with code quality and test coverage tools such as SonarQube, Codecov or Coverage.py.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools such as Locust or JMeter.
• Experience with application monitoring and error tracking tools such as Sentry.
• Experience analyzing logs, metrics and system observability data.
• Experience testing IoT products or connected devices.
